Thank you for your interest in The Village Guest House. I have been in operation for over 12 years. Our international guests return year after year for our clean, cozy, and charming accomodations . I speak French and my husband speaks German!

This charming historic, Federal-style brick house was built in 1831. Situated in the heart of Greenwich Village and very centrally located to Manhattan's greatest treasures. Located on a lovely tree lined street, I am only one block from Washington Square Park and New York University. Conveniently located between two subway stops, Christopher Street and the West 4th Street Subways. From these subways and with $2.00 you have access to the best New York City has to offer.
Chelsea and SoHo are only a few minutes away by foot!
The Village is New York's most vibrant and tolerant district. With a variety of art galleries, off-beat shopping, and nightlife, including jazz, rock, and dance clubs, restaurants, bars, and cafes, the Village is home to a colorful mélange of college students, artists, writers, and many others who are simply seeking an urban alternative.

Creatively decorated, each room offers a queen size or
double sized bed, private bathroom, free local phone service, cable TV, air conditioning, iron, hair dryer, free WiFi, kitchenette, and everything you need to remain comfortable at your home away from home.

I cater to the sophisticated traveler, non-partying and genuinely peace-loving guest! The rooms are for registered guests only. Definitely NO smoking allowed. I can be reached by e-mail at gogoco@aol.com. At the time of your inquiry I can forward you pictures of the room that is available.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you,

Colleen
